Is this okay?

Okay, so I tried doing the whole counting calories things for me and it just didn't work me, so I basically gave up for awhile. So about 2 weeks ago, I joined Weight Watchers and I've lost 4.4lbs already, and still need to weigh-in this week on Friday or Saturday. If I am doing that, and a part of this group should I not be here. I don't want to leave, but if you members don't agree with it that is understandable too. I think we all know that you have to find out what works best for you, and counting points is easier for me than counting calories. So I guess I am wondering is it okay to still be a member of this board even if I'm doing weight watchers?

Of course it is! You still need motivation and friends to talk about your struggles with. No one would ever alienate you for finding a way that works better for you. Congratulations, by the way!0

i beleive there are a few people on here that do weight watchers... and i think we are a pretty awesome sopport system!!! I think you should stick around! :flowerforyou:

Thats good to know that i'm in the clear with this situation.
I was seriously contemplating coming back because I was so worried that the members wouldn't like it if I did this. LIke they would think I was trying to promote WW on here or something, yeah I have anxiety and get nervous.
But, I'm happy that I have the support here that I do.0 -

Glad you've decided to come back...even if you don't log on here there is so much MFP has to offer as you know...the boards alone are worth their weight in GOLD!

Whatever works for you that is what you should stay with. But why not stay here I do not even want to lose anymore weight but stay here because it keeps me motivated everyday. Do not leave we will miss ya!!! Plus sometimes you come across some great advice you would not here if you were not here...:happy:

Another thing you might enjoy is all the onging challenges we have here on MFP right now...they have just started a BLoser challenge but I would think anyone could stil jump in and join since it's just starting up. I believe the show itself start the 6th?
There's also a pushup challenge and probably way more than I know about... joining challenges gets the excitement going when losing or changing habits or adding in particular strength excercies...because you're doing a sort of group activity and have lots of cheerleaders on your team, cheering one another on:drinker:
