Setting mini/weekly goals
Okay, so I don't do well with long term goals so I am going to try a different tactic. I am going to try mini weekly goals. This weeks goals are
1. Get up early enough to fix hubby and me a healthy breakfast (did good today).
2. Plan and pack lunch the night before (did that)
3. Drink water (working on that one)
4. Exercise (will do before the day is over)
Who else is setting mini goals and how has it worked out for you?

:huh: I might have to give mini goals a try. Long term goals don't seem to be working. I'm stuck, :grumble: :grumble: I can't motivate myself to exercise and time is closing fast for my daughter's wedding.:drinker: :drinker:
The trouble is my weeks just keep sliding by and I have not seen any progress.:grumble: :grumble:0 -
Here's my mini goal for the month of January.
1. Move my body in some way shape or form at least 5 days a week.
If I can do that, I will reward myself with the Wii Fitness Trainer Game I want0 -
For me, this is the way to go! Grant it, I'm starting over as my pre-Christmas trial is over! I've gained 6 lbs since Thanksgiving, but I'm still less than when I started Oct 6th! Mini goals are easier for me just because I tend to see things in the short term realm rather than long-term! Good luck to you with your goals0

So far I am keeping my mini goals in check!! Yeah me. I haven't made it to 10 glasses of water but I have only drank water today, no tea!! That is a miracle for me. I have logged all my food and I have stayed on track, didn't make excuses to go out for fast food. Yeah me again.
