11 miles in cycling class. Not sure if I can get out and walk, I hope to do so later. I'm on my way to where I work to get results from a fitness assessment I took last week. The Employee Wellness dept there has a program where you earn 'fitness dollars" (and they give you fake $5 and $1s) by tracking your steps, miles, and exercise time. I used some for an assessment, including measurements of body fat (curious to see that - 102 lbs ago it was 44%) and all that other fun stuff. My trainer recommended doing it, the last one I did was two years ago and since this was only costing me fake money, I'm doing it at work, rather than the Wellness Center I go to (also owned by my hospital). I've also used the fake money to get a stability ball and am picking up a new yoga mat today

Apparently not as far as I'd hoped. My BF % is 33.4, I was hoping for under 30. It's in the recommended guidelines for 40-59 year old females at least. It just seemed that after two years since I got it tested, it would have been more. Got a new yoga mat and got an orientation to the little gym in the next building that I'll now have access to. Doubtful I can get to go much since we never get real breaks, but hoping to sneak some time in there once in a while. They've got treadmills, bikes, free weights and a couple of machines.

Came home and did 2.4 miles of walking so I could hit my 10K steps for the day.

Beautiful, sunny, 85 degrees, a great day for a meander through the neighborhood. But the good news (bad news for cycling this weekend) is we have storms moving in and supposed to pack a wallop, tons of rain (so we go from fire danger to flooding), but also severe thunder/lightning storms too. Might not be able to ride this weekend for my team LJ. But if it is possible I will ride as long as there is no lightning and the water isn't to deep! Maybe the fat tire bike. The pic was sent from a friend who lives in Chelan Washington. There is only a lake between the town and the fire. This was taken a couple of days ago.

08/22 - 11.0 miles cycling (Le Vuelta Challenge Stage 1)
08/23 - 13.0 miles cycling (Le Vuelta Challenge Stage 2)
08/24 - 11.0 miles cycling (Le Vuelta Challenge Stage 3)
08/25 - 12.0 miles cycling (Le Vuelta Challenge Stage 4)
08/26 - 13.0 miles cycling (Le Vuelta Challenge Stage 5)

    Total: 231.28 miles

Are you kidding?! That's phenominal! From 44 to 33? That takes so much strain off your organs and joints. That is an amazing amount to have lost, let alone in two years or less. My hat is off to you! Way to go! :+1::smile:

Well I dragged out the bike so I would have some hope of getting to goal this month. Added 10 miles on the bike and 5 miles walking. August total 101.75 miles.

Hope I'm not too sore tomorrow. I had to hop off the bike and walk a couple of times today to relieve the pressure on my hips and inner thighs from the different muscle movement than walking. Time to get a couple of ibuprofen then off to bed.
