Appetite suppressants

Does anyone know of any effective appetite suppressants out there?
If you don't agree with the use of these, spare me the lecture and move along. Thank you!

I see you've read these boards before lol
Coconut oil and biotin are suppressants and work with increasing metabolism- so I've read. I've been taking them both- can't say I notice a huge difference. Also using powdered psyllium husk mixed in 8 oz water 30 mins before each meal fills you up. The substance expands in your gut and binds to fat which gets eliminated . It does cause bloating in the beginning but I can say- it does help with appetite suppression.

During comp prep I use Garcinia Cambogia. It doesn't suppress my appetite completely but it helped take the edge off. You need to take it about 30 -40 minutes prior to eating.

same here.. from my experience ..I was using slim quick 3 tablets or 3 gummies once perday usually after lunch ...it helped to make hunger pangs come gradually (slowed them) but didn't erase them completely with it I use to end up eating less like 200 calories less sometimes

Dr's can prescribe meds to suppress your appetite if you are obese and at risk for other complications. There are side effects with most drugs- I personally get scared of the book of side effects - I try herbal supplements and changing some things in my diet. Fiber takes longer to be digested- so you feel fuller longer. Fats also satisfy your hunger longer.

Wow two flags in four posts. Water is my best appetite suppressor. Drink lots and lots of water. You'll also burn more calories running to the bathroom.

Your warning worked. All the people who know what they are talking about are staying away from the thread. Good work.

It's all snake oil. SMH. I'm here to tell you can't tell anyone here not to comment. It doesn't work like that. Sorry.

Let me reiterate, it's all crap. It teaches you nothing about maintaining your weight for life.

Erm- accidentally reported the thread as abuse. While I don't exactly think much of appetite suppressants, this isn't an abusive thread.

    Sorry!!

I think I missed something here. Flags?! Talking about appetite suppressants is not allowed or something?

The threat of my calorie count going from green to red is appetite suppressant enough for me.

This community guideline may have something to do with it.

The best appetite suppressant with no negative side effects is WATER. Full your belly with hydration and you'll be less hungry. Sometimes our bodies think they are hungry when they are actually thirsty.

Just going to leave this here:

3 Different types of Flags and How to Use Them:

Spam: Use this flag to report BOT style spam. If its a non-sense post with a link or one account posting a flood of oh say posts about an astrology hotline, then please use this flag to report it. 5 flags will automatically move that content into the spam queue to be reviewed by our moderators. Items in the spam queue are hidden until they are either approved by a moderator as not being spam or are deleted by a moderator after being verified as spam. If a person is advertising (i.e. buy my great new product), please use the Reported Posts flag.

Abuse: Use this flag to report extreme abuse of our guidelines; such as posting of pornographic images or hate speech. 5 flags will automatically move that content into the abuse queue to be reviewed by our moderators. Items in the abuse queue are hidden until they are either approved by a moderator as not being abuse or are deleted by a moderator after being verified as abuse. Items marked for abuse should be both severe and urgent. If it does not meet this criteria it will be approved by a moderator and returned to the community without further action.

*Reported Posts*: Use this flag to let us know about posts that violate our Community Guidelines or to ask us to delete your own post. Every post that is reported goes into a Reported Posts queue that is reviewed by a staff or volunteer moderator. This content is not hidden while its in review.

*******What happens when a user abuses the flag feature*******

Users who flag content which does not meet the criteria for a flag will be subject to warnings and points. This includes users who are flagging content due to past events gone sour, a dislike of the user, and those who are trying to incite drama, flame-bait, or are flagging to attack another user in a thread due to disagreement.
