Sorry to ask a dumb question...what does "bump" mean?

    "bring up my post"

    it bumps the topic to the top so you can find it easier later and so other people will see it and respond.

    Someone replies "bump" so the topic is saved in My Topics (Above) so they can come back to the topic later. Sometimes it's because they have the same question and are waiting for an answer. Other times it's because they are to busy to answer it right then and there.

    People say bump if they like a certain post and want to return to it later. By saying "bump," it saves the post to the list of things you have posted on, so that you can revisit the post. The word bump isn't important, you can post anything...even, "I like this and wish to return to it later." Bump is a bit easier though :)

    BTW, the first time a friend put LOL on a text to me, I thought she was calling me a little old lady.
