is my goal realistic?

I'm currently at 27% body fat. I'd like to ultimately get to a sub-10% body fat. (after the skin surgery I'm assuming I'll probably have to have). I'm wondering if that's really doable or if I'm being unrealistic.

I'm not sure either... but isn't a healthy body fat percentage for men 15-20%?

If you want to do it, you totally can. It'll be a long, hard process, but if you're willing to put in the work to become a lean, mean, ripped machine... why not?

Have you checked out bodybuilding.com (and their forums)?

Totally doable, man. I don't even know where my bf% is right now, but the lower you want your body fat, the more strict the diet becomes coordinated with timing meals and macros. Doing research on sorts of bodybuilding diets, you either have a low carb and/or increased protein intake on non-lifting/HIIT routine days, and increase carbs on the days you do lift, and of course the load should be heavy. So, given that, I cycle my macros depending on what routine I'm doing.

Then if you want more muscle mass, you could bulk and cut. Though, if you're feeling a bit overzealous, you could do it simultaneously, but the diet would have to be damn near immaculate for about 2+ months, if I did my research correctly.

This is just from what I know, which isn't all that much, and hell, may not even be correct, but it gives you an idea that it's definitely possible.

I agree. You can do anything you put your mind to. It'll take a lot of work, but it's doable! :)

P.S. 132 club!! Whoo! Can I get a 133 next week? Haha. :glasses:

I always thought sub 10% for men was "competition" numbers.

    Good luck!

Yeah supposedly 8-10% is an athlete's build. I really just want dem abs and obliques to show as cliche as it is.

Just to echo the above, of course it's doable! That may be a hard level to maintain, but you can certainly hit it and decide what to do from there.
