80 this morning but my big news is that I am 61 lbs off as of this morning...since I was diagnosed with T2D in April 2015. Feeling so good and just a few pounds from my goal. Have a great day everyone.

9.3 not sure how that translates for AMerican readings. It's higher than I expected, I've been in the 6 to 7 range for the last two weeks.
Could have been the two clementines I had around 9:30 last night?

So, I found a chart on-line this morning that converts my readings to American readings. So my BG this morning was 168. What is 'normal' by American standards? I was told, between 4 and 7 fasting in the morning, and between 5 and 10 two hours after eating.
so that would be 72 to 126 and 90 to 180. Does that sound right?

I am CDN but I use the conversion chart to post in USA numbers as that is what most list in..my bs was 4.5 this morning..they are the numbers I understand too..

@judyvalentine512 it's a bit high for sure but sometimes in the morning it can be high..a problem for lots of diabetics. If you didn't sleep well or if you are a little under the weather or lots of things..just eat normally and see if it's a trend. Always note the highs or lows so you can tell your doctor next time.

Thanks Jane. I do write them all down since this is relatively new to me. I don't think I'm finished with this pancreatitis flare up yet. I see my surgeon this week and hopefully he'll have more answers for me.

140, but I just got back on track January 1, and it was 220 then. Also back on my meds as of today, so we'll see how it goes.
