New to my fitness trying to lose about 40lbs

    I've been at this 50days and I'm down 10 pounds. At first I was starving, and I mean starving. I never realized how much I was eating on a given day. Don't get discouraged. Stay with it. Your hunger will go down. Use you calories to an advantage, it will make you make better choices. I have a fitbit and try to incorporate walking or the treadmill. Don't give up.
  • You will have those "white knuckle" days, especially at the start. Sometimes you will win, sometimes the cravings will. Be proud of when you beat them, and when they beat you, just forgive yourself and start again.

    I have also found that reducing sugar and carbs, before worrying so much about calories/portion size, can really help with cravings once you start controlling the calories.

    Lost forty pounds since last May thru October. Started some weight exercises and have not lost anymore. Takes the body time from what I have read if your now using weights. I also think I could definately eat better. That's why I am using this app. Don't give up! Bad knee and all is not stopping me. Just keep plugging through. Baby steps as my son suggests My numbers at the doctor improved tremendously. Good luck!!!
