Has anyone got any suggestions on how to avoid Charlie Horse cramps?
I seem to get them every time I follow a low carb lifestyle!!

Muscle cramps result from electrolyte imbalance. You need to UP YOUR SALT asap so that you are getting between 3000 - 5000 mg daily (I personally have found that I need at least 5000 mg of salt every day in order to avoid cramps in my calves and feet in the morning when I wake up). You may also need to take a magnesium and/or potassium supplement as well.0

Agree on up the salt, I do pink himalayan.
Also agree on potassium supplements - my dr recommended that and it helps.
Also Hylands makes a leg cramp med and also an ointment. I keep the tablets on my nigh table.
