    I guess working out in the winter is still a struggle, especially since I don't get to do my favourite sport, distance running. Looking forward to the spring.

    Struggles: Weekend at my parents' place. old eating patterns, not enough drink. hardly any exercise. not nearly enough sleep the whole week.
    Success: We went for a nice long walk, great for the mood! the last few days I have managed to stay under my calories, prepare lunch for work, be consistent in my logging, and avoid snacking in the evening.

    my goal for this month seems a bit far away but I feel that I really deserve the loss (even if it's a very tiny one).

    Upcoming week is going to be a challenge as it's my birthday, but I feel good going into it and am learning that it's OK to have an indulgence occasionally, as long as I eat clean with my very next meal forward again.

    Successes/Struggles this week: Stayed consistent with exercise. For the past 2 weeks, I've been down my daughter's house because she was in the hospital. Although I stayed within my calorie goals, I must be eating more then I think: more take out, not preparing my own food, not weighing food, stress, etc.. I'll be back home today. Back in my comfort zone!!! :)

    Successes/struggles this week: It's that lovely time of the month and I've managed to keep my cravings in check. I've indulged in a few Tim Horton coffees, but it all fit nicely into the calorie count for the day. I've yet to incorporate any exercise.
