    3.1 walk for me last night

    Still chasing green...that means I'm just really good at picking a goal that's challenging, right?

    @taxmom9093 no being discouraged allowed! You're still moving even though you're not where you'd like to be and that counts for a lot!

    PS @darkrider42 Dave the new colors do look cool!

    Doctor is pleased with my progress and told me I could go back to work whenever I'm ready. I decided to finish this week working from home and will go back into the office on Monday. He also said I can start "cheating" on the PT after 4 weeks and move the arm on its own some. I can also take the arm out of the sling to drive, as long as I'm not actually using the arm for another few weeks. I didn't specifically ask when I can start running/ cycling, but he said I'll be able to tell when things feel right enough to resume normal activity, after the minimum 6 weeks anyway.

    @Just_Ceci: Sounds like things are moving in a good direction. PT can be rough. But if you find good ones they can do wonders. Just don't push it cause it can slow your progress.

    Feb. 23: It was in the 50's here today. After coaching volleyball, I managed to get a 4.1 mile run in along with 7 miles of walking and some jumping rope thrown in for good measure. Last year at this time I could barely jump rope on my surgically repaired knee and I am impressed how much it has improved. 11.1 miles today.

    Dave...we wear thermals in 43 degree weather here, and what's all that white stuff??? :D

    Walked w/DH and Bean early this morning then got on the recumbent for 45 mins and an episode of Castle then played w/some weights to a DVD then...uummmm....nothing!! ;) A beautiful, sunny day here in California! B)

    2/23 - 6.94 miles
    2/23 - 12.80 bike miles

    Kind of late signing up for this party, but it's been another one of those months. Currently sitting at a pretty lame 17.8 miles. Going to aim real low, and go for 25. Hopefully march will be better. Thanks as always to the awesome people who devote their time to keeping us all on track.

    Starting the month off right. 25 miles out of 150. Bike and XC skis. Gotta love winter. :smile:

    Adding another 6 miles on the XC skis. That's 31 out of 150.

    Adding another 3 miles on the XC skis. Skate skiing is TOUGH! I guess I just need more practice. That makes 34 out of 150.

    6 more miles on the hamster wheel. That's 40 out of 150.

    Adding 6 more miles for 46 out of 150. It was nice to start commuting again. I didn't expect that two weeks into February.

    Adding 16 more miles. It's good to be outside on the bike again but I forgot how hard it is to lug my fat carcass up the hills. :smile: That makes 62 out of 150.

    Adding another 15 miles for 77 out of 150.

    Adding 6 miles for 83 miles out of 150. Coming right along this month. :smile:

    Adding another 12 miles for 95 out of 150.

    Adding 6 more miles for 101 out of 150. Too bad they had to be inside but after weights, I was spent anyway so it's just as well. :smile:

    Adding another 12 miles from an FTP test. Those really bite but if you don't know where you are, how do you know if you're getting where you want to be?
