I would love to join this group. It helps to be active on the thread too. I am going to do 5lbs. a month. I know my body and how hard it is to lose. I started the Whole30 program so I am not able to weigh until April 14th.

Hi Sarah,
I suppose if you are including my starting weight from February that would be right, but from 226 (my current weight right now) to 170 is 55lbs or 56lbs if you include that extra one0 -

I would love to join in! Just joined the group! I agree with the others it might be easier to keep track and stay more organized in a group and have different threads for weigh in each week, support, challenges, ect...

I tend to agree. I lost 10 pounds the first month I started on MFP, and then 5 pounds in the second month, and now 3 pounds thus far in March. I think I can aim for 7 pounds a month from April until September, which would be 35 pounds. Anything more would be nearly impossible to achieve when you factor in plateaus and potential exercise interrupters (such as injuries).

Hi; I am once again beginning this today; I weight 295; 5' 3.5" and am having a knee replaced around June 1st; 2016; I am 65; and very sedentary. Would love to have support on this journey. I saw we are around the same weight; so though we may be able to help one another with this life changing experience.
