logging exercise

I could not find an entry for Hip Hop Abs or fast paced dancing. So how do I log that exercise?

    MFP calorie burns are estimates. Just log exercise under cardiovascular and choose a general category - like aerobics.

    Calorie burns are estimates because there are so many factors that determine them.......height, weight, age, gender, exertion level and more. MFP can't know how hard a workout was for you, or how much lean muscle mass you have.

    MFP has the reputation of being overly generous with calorie burn estimates. It's recommended to eat back just a portion (if you got your daily allotment using MFP).
