Not sure what to do now. Im 34 year old male 237 lbs 5 ft 11 3/4 inches tall. Ive recently lost 63 pounds by doing a lot of cardio and a bit of strength training over 4 months while eating roughly 2500 calories a day. My long term goal is to achieve a bit of a body builder look but i know that isnt going to happen in the immediate future. I still have a lot of fat with a 45 inch waist. Losing the weight has been relatively easy for me and i could get down to 200 in 2 or 3 months. However i know i am losing muscle mass and i dont want to be a 200 pound weakling. Its just feels so good to lose the weight fast that i am totally addicted to weight lose now. It was just so incredibly hard to carry 300 pounds and try to live out my life. Every pound i lose takes so much strain off my joints and gets me closer to how i used to feel when i was an athlete. Its just too good i dont want to slow down. So my question is should i go slow and try to maintain muscle or even build it while losing weight...if that is even possible...or just lose the weight and then rebuild from there?

Building muscle will help with weight loss, muscles burn more calories than fat. Good luck

So far you are doing fine! Keep it up until you have lost significant amount of fat. Since you're doing strength training as well as dieting and cardio, the muscle loss isn't noticeable, meaning, you're not losing as much muscle as you are losing fat. I advice to continue what you have started and focus on weight lifting, that way body understands that it's necessary to keep as much muscle as possible since you are heavily using them day to day. Does this make sense to you?
When you will have lost most fat and some definition of your body is visible, that's the time to get careful with calories/macro intake and cardio in order to preventing muscle loss. It's the last bits of fat that is harder to lose because muscle usually goes with it as well, proper training and diet can prevent it as much as possible. It depends on individual.
    Hope I helped.
