Lost and gained.

I used mfp couple years ago and was very motivated and was really successful. Unfortunately I have gained it back and then some. I decided to try again and opening my old account and having to set my goals again and up my current weight was pretty depressing. Seeing my old success posts bothered me too so I decided to instead start a fresh new account. I'm definitely finding it harder to motivate myself again but I'm on an 8 day streak again and hoping it will continue.

Ya it is tough. I was in denial a bit about how much I was gaining back but after last week leaving dressing room crying I knew I had to do something. I was actually really fit when I was younger and used to work as a certified personal trainer and I really get mad at myself for letting myself go. I did a work out yesterday and I couldn't believe the strength I've lost but I know it won't get better if I don't do something about it. I've been reading the success stories in here and it is really motivating. I have about 40 lbs to lose and I'm not going to let myself fail or fall back into old habits. My partner is one of those naturally ripped guys who can eat anything he wants and stays in amazing shape. He has a habit of bringing home junk food every evening and we used to eat it together watching tv before bed. I know it's not fair to ask him to stop but that's the time when I'm most tempted to binge. Any others have issues dealing with others bad eating habits and seeing all that tempting food daily at home?0

I have my own treats that I eat within my calories and have also found some healthier options that I find delicious and snack on in bed like frozen dark sweet cherries:) You get a lot of those for like 90 cals! And apples sliced really thin dipped in vanilla Greek yogurt. Mmm so good. Also an old WW recipe called 3-2-1 cake. You mix a whole box of angel food cake with a cake mix of choice. In a bowl put 3 tbsp mix, 2 tbsp water. Mix. Microwave 1 minute (~100 cals). I top it with cool whip:)0
