I have to so I question the claimed 25m length. But I'll know immediately if they are exaggerating. Strokes per length. If is less than 18, then it is shorter than 25m. I would expect it to be 20 to 22 SPL given that I'm at 18/19 for 25 yards.
Count the Different Color's of the Buoys on the Lane Ropes - they usually indicate Meter lengths.

Editted to add: Although if they are in Yards it will still come out to 25. Bring a One meter piece of Nylon with you and measure the length of one set of Buoys on the Ropes? Ultimately even if it is Short - Its a pool and you get to Swim - Win - Win I believe.

The 5th of the month is pool cleaning day at the gym I just got to. So no swim last night.
Was going to hit the weight room instead. Just needed a short nap before going. Woke up at 8:15P. :dizzy:
So I took it as a rest day.
    Swimming tonight after work.
Then we will see how the two-a-day plans for Saturday and Sunday work out.

For those of us wondering what "Patient lead hand" is:

Without checking the link, since I'm in China, I'm guessing that is like the catchup drill. Leaving my reach hand out until my pull hand catches up.
This cut my SPL from 24/26 to 18/19 in a 25 yard pool.

2550 yards in under an hour. Thought I was speedier than usual, but same pace. That's ok -- progress is just minor improvements past whatever "normal" is. Distracted by irritating sprinter guy in next lane but I didn't slow enough to let him pass, so it's a win.

I think it is intended as a full-time way of swimming, not just a drill.

I used the drill to get it into my regular stroke. Works great for improving efficiency.

Depending on which Marie was used to build the China pool, my swim was either 7000 meters or 7000 yards. :D

2550 yds 56 minutes. One of those swims that felt fast but was just the new average.

Always progress. You are almost down to 1 minute per lap. That is huge.

@fishgutzy Its a pool and you get to Swim - Win - Win I believe. I remember you thinking that counting strokes would help you determine if it was M or Y.

@NoelFigart1 and @nuffer Knocking off some great distance's.

@MightyLolo Impressive Laps without arms and then Drills.

Friday Night Swim 6:00pm - 7:30pm. B) 1 double wide lane 2 swimmers. Front Crawl Drills.

2 x 100 - Catch up - Concentrating on High Elbow and slight angle in the palm of my hand on entry. Variations with Pool Buoy or Fins.
I have a habit with my left arm of having a low elbow and flat palm/dropped wrist on entry = Braking action and dragging lots of air down into the water with my left hand when compared to might hand. Which means lots of Drag and in-efficiency in my left arm.
    2 x 75 - 50 Kick-25 Front Crawl. Must Improve my kick.
    1 x 250 - Front Crawl.
Repeat Catch up and Kick Drill.
    1 x 250 - Back Stroke.
Repeat Catch up and Kick Drill.
    1 x 250 - Breast Stroke.
Repeat Catch up, Kick and Front Crawl Drill.
    100 easy.

I forgot to work in the Timed 60 stroke - Max Distance drill.

On a frustrating note they no longer manufacture the swim goggles I use.
I have a wide flat face so most goggles are too narrow or have to much angle built into them meaning I have to start the hunt for a replacement. :/

As one of the regular's at the pool I know everyone who swims during lanes - it's a small town - so when someone new shows up we have to " Train them " on the local rules. With University/Colleges out for the summer we have lots of new Students doing Summer Jobs showing up at the pool. Like @nuffer I Love it when a 50/100m speed demon shows up and us old fogies bury them with a 1000m swim or a drill set like I did tonight.
