Just to add on to what I said above... For some people, choosing the right macro split, eg High protein or low carb, high fat, low fat, high carb etc etc makes it easier for them to stay in a deficit, and for other it makes no difference. But in the end the amount of calories you eat will dictate weight loss. For weight loss, which foods you eat makes zero difference. Calories are the only thing you need to worry about.1

I find eating clean, vegies salads that sorta thing I can have better quality calories more quantity.. Finding a right macro split. Im new w the diary and its startling to see how "off" I can be.0

CICO for just weight loss. What you eat affects how hungry you are, how much energy you have, and how healthy you are, basically.1

For weight loss, gain or maintenance it is all down to eating the right amount of calories.
