A new report by WHO and FAO says that the amounts of glyphosate you're likely to ingest are unlikely to pose a health risk.

report: http://www.who.int/foodsafety/jmprsummary2016.pdf

A friend of mine sent me a link today to a rather... questionable website decrying that, saying they're all bought by monsanto etc.. that's how I heard about that. I was wondering why no one had made a thread about the report yet, so I did before the fear mongering starts.

When was glyphosate introduced? Late 70s ? I remember a biology teacher explaining how it worked on pathways unique to plants and that was why it was ok to spray on watercourses.

It's be shown to be safe for years. It's jagoffs like David Wolfe and "dr" mecola who keep saying it's not in an effort to sell more of their snake oil.
