    I'm back and ready to get some serious miles in! Although I will be gone again this weekend, I'm planning some long rides for the rest of May.


    5/1- 30 miles
    5/2- 30 miles
    5/3- 15 miles
    5/5- 30 miles
    5/6- 20 miles
    5/7- 20 miles
    5/8- 30 miles
    5/10- 5 miles indoor
    5/12- 15 miles
    5/17- 20 miles

    Total: 215 miles
    Goal: 450 miles
    Remaining: 235 miles

    @rachelr1116- Wow yes glad nothing worse!!
    Make sure you have or someone has put them on right. Right and Left hand thread so the rotation forward always keeps them tight.

    I leave for 5 days tomorrow so I will manage 3 more commutes then a break (it should put me near the 400k mark) Friday I will start walking / C25K over the weekend to try and get some exercise while I'm out west . back at it next Wednesday. measurement on the weekend may be spotty at best as i will have no phone service in Victoria without paying roaming fees

    wow nice speeds, I'm getting faster but not there yet (this AM was 19kmh uphill (100 meter rise over 16 km), best on the way home has been 21.8 kmh but traffic and stoplights limit it somewhat

    Keep in mind the rides include interval training, mtb race pace laps, and a lot of stuff related to building to a peak for mountain bike racing (I'm in week 7 of a 12 week structured training plan for racing which was preceded by a 12 week base training plan for mountain bike racing). Some of that is on the road bike, some is on the dirt bike. 4 hour mountain bike race coming up this weekend as well...

    Just more commuting and time on the expresso at the gym. Enjoying training with power at the gym, so I may break down and grab a set of Jet 5s with a powertap (spotted a great deal online) before my September/November ironman races.

    So much better (mine is about 20 miles ) plus cars don't give you endorphin highs to make the day better ;)

    Went on a nice ride last night with the bf. There have been some things I've been stressing over lately, but getting out to ride after work on a sunny day is so therapeutic for me
