I'm in college and don't have a lot of money so I have been just eating chicken, brown rice, fruit and vegetables and sometimes steak. I have lost 12 lbs in 25 days so far. But it would be nice to have some friends on here.

Another poor university student checking in! I'm living off student loans and a bit of money from working part time this semester while taking classes. I too live off chicken and vegetables. And eggs. So many eggs!

Howdy. I am a recent college graduate from TAMUG. I did work there, but summer housing fell through this year. If I was down there right now, I'd too would be living off of chicken, tuna, canned veggies, fruits, beans, brown rice, eggs, lunch meat.... cheap stuff that doesn't spoil quickly.

I have had a hard time being back at home. In all honesty, I HATE logging food and exercise. It's a hassle in my mind. I also have had a hard time just getting motivated for anything and I really miss my job and friends.

I used to be a poor college student and I still do my best to buy low-budget. Do try to get into lentils and beans. I really enjoy soups and stews and I also add lentils and beans to my salads.

Aye. I am also a poor university student. I am lucky in that my fiancée works full time to support us while I work part time at the school.

Chicken, tuna, eggs, frozen broccoli, cheap smoked fish, salmon (when it's on sale also I live in a fishing community so stuffs cheap), cheap pork cuts, peanut butter, rice, fruit, and occasionally beef. I eat slightly lower carbs so that stretches out our budget allowance for fruit and veggies nicely. Then we incorporate more fats into our diet through oils, butter, or fatty fish. We do make chili and pork stews quite frequently in the winter. But we also frequently have weeks where our budget is short so we're eating whatever we stocked up in our pantry.

Today was a lucky day - bigger check last week and strip steaks were on sale. Lucky me!

Feel free to add - it's always nice to see what other students are eating.

Been there done that. I did a lot of mac-n-cheese and tuna, hot dogs, and raemen as well!

And I played sand volleyball all the time because it didn't cost me anything. All of that trim eating and exercise kept me quite healthy really.

Junior undergrad, 18, off campus housing (thankfully! I finally have a kitchen) ...but, student loans and part time job. Chicken, lean ground beef, lots of vegetables, fruits, yogurt(the tubs, bc it's cheaper), and peanut butter! I am tracking macros, so protein is my main goal! Feel free to add me, maybe we can get some cheap good recipes going!
