If it's a drink with calories then yes, those calories count as part of your daily calorie total.

Yes. You will be shocked at how many calories are in some drinks. For example I had a glass of pineapple juice yesterday after I exercised. I knew it wasn't the best choice but I wanted it. At 130 calories that glass contained 10% of my calories for the DAY. You put sugar in your coffee or tea -- add in those 15 calories because they add up.

Yes, you have to count the calories.
Juice has a lot of calories.
You would be better off just eating the fruit.

If it has calories, you add it in.

Things like coffee have minimal calories. I wouldn't worry about that too much. Just be sure to log any creamer or sugar used.

Juice can be fairly calorie dense. 100 or so per cup if I remember correctly. It's too acidic for me.

Remember to eat back a portion of your exercise calories.

I love juice and used to drink a lot of it, although I did water it down a bit. But juice, while it is so desirable, really has a lot of empty calories. Drinking it, we're often missing both the pulp and peels, which carry most of the nutrients. I've had to learn to love the actual fruit as much as I once loved the juice.

Re my coffee, Father spoiled me! He would leave half a cup of coffee in his mug for me, which I would fill up with milk, then add two teaspoons of sugar. I've never gotten over that taste, so while I now use xylitol instead of sugar, I gotta have that milk. Yep -- I have to count that in my calories.
