Morning:
There are a group of us that have been on the WW site for years and we are starting over here. We are hoping to keep our group and add to our group with more interaction here. Some of us do WW tracking, some do MFP, some just do on their own. The most important thing is accountability and encouragement. We strive to encourage, as we all have our own things we are working on to improve. However, it all comes down to HEALTH. We can't take back the years of abuse, but our bodies are amazing and heal themselves when given the opportunity. We will post on this THREAD every day, we will not start a new one. So bookmark this thread and come visit us everyday.

Peru, I tried tracking both but couldn't keep up. So now I'm just tracking here. I'm on a modified carb eating plan now because of my prediabetes. 40% carbs 30% fats 30% protein Protein is my hardest, So my challenge for this next week is to increase my avg from this week I will do that by having smoothies 3 times a week and yogurt parfait 3 times a week for lunch.

@cbabie I was really busy yesterday too and didn't eat all that great!! I'm really struggling with getting back on track!!
@theslightedgeforever : yes we do have to get out of the pre-diabetes phase. I'm having a hard time!! I was doing so good a few weeks ago and I'm having a hard time getting back on track. I'm feeling like paying for WW has been a waste ughhh!!!

Challenge: do you guys want a physical one or something like water intake? I think we should have a couple..
one challenge is to Post, not just visit and read, but POST every day with your update on your challenges and if you have time do the personals.
2nd challenge? It sounds to me like most of us here are fighting the sugar war. I know that this program provides us the grams we are eating a day, but WW does not provide a summary, but it does individually..which is a pain. Karla what are your thoughts? Maybe we each pick what the 2nd challenge is and we are accountable to this group for reporting daily on that challenge. Remember that water is VERY important to flush out your system, etc. no nutrients, but healthy intake.
@theslightedgeforever great job in still trying to keep on moving even when you knew to stop because of your thumb. Oh my then complicated by Tom..LOL Consistency is the key! There is no judgement here, but it's important to be accountable to yourself.
@peruviansweetie I am so happy to see you posting. You know it's hard to fight the sugar when it's in everything we eat. It's harder because we don't see the physical effects until it's too late. I see my dad who does not take care of his body...but won't give up the ghost..have a miserable life and I don't want to be like him. BUT that doesn't occur to me when I pick up the ice cream or the creme filled hostess.LOL So how do we make it real enough every day to understand the effects this has on us.
@bugmom92 Glad you found us. Karla I know you can do this. I have been on the boards with you forever. I see some of our old friends on FB and I am sad that they did not keep trying. As long as you keep trying you will succeed. Have fun watching your chicks...I have a picture of my mom's mom with her chickens and love that picture.
@jackie_van_d I hope I didn't scare you away..LOL I am glad you found us. We are small, but we love to encourage each other and listen to the days we have and applaud the successes.

My challenge for my self is to drink water today, I normally only drink a cup (and waaaaay to much soda pop)
So actually mine is a double challenge.., less sugary drinks more water

Start radiotherapy next week 6 weeks so im hitting allvthe fruit n veg I can at the mo thx for listeming ill keep u posted kate xxxd
As I stated earlier I usually drink in total about 1 cup a day
So far I'm at 3 cups and a very iced down Coke !
