Successes/struggles this week: After feeling like I had ended July's challenge victoriously (weighing 175.0 on 7/29), I discovered two days later that I had returned to 177.7. Stupid eating out. Anyway, I'm eating better & doing 3 strength training classes this week. Fingers crossed this was a fluke and I'll be back to the stats I'm striving for. Good luck everyone!!3 -

This was a good week. I didn't over indulge and was active every day. We are going out of town for the weekend and there will be lots of temptations. Hope everyone has a great weekend!4 -
Glad to see a lost this morning given I had a water retention spike yesterday that put me over last week's weigh in, and I still feel a bit bloated. I'm sure now that I've posted my weigh in, the scale will drop some more later this morning...somehow it knows...lol.

Goals for month of August:- Eat within my calorie goal and match my macro ratios daily
- Planks and 30 minutes of Gazelle (Glider) every week night (M-F)
- 2 or more additional Days of Cardio (SUP); 2 Days Strength/Resistance
- Over 7 hours of sleep/night
- Drink 8-10 glasses of water/day
Challenges: Getting new workout routine established, and having solid alternate plans when the weather doesn't want to cooperate. Being motivated to workout. Eating within macros. Getting enough sleep and water daily.
Successes:- Down .8 pounds, despite having a water retention spike yesterday and still feeling a bit bloated this morning.
- NSV - A few weeks ago, I was able to get into a pair of smaller pants (Columbia size 8), but had bad muffin top, so I left them hanging on my closet door for motivation. Today, the pants fit nicely and are now getting added into my wardrobe!!
- Have dropped below my lowest weight from last summer (which was 138.4 and is when I started to gain again last year after losing about 13 pounds). Finally feel like I know what I need to do (and it is controllable, not just a fluke) to keep dropping to my ultimate goal weight.

Successes/struggles this week: Lost a lot of water weight I was retaining last 2 weeks!! Made for a huge downward jump in my scale weight. (TMI: I got up one night like 5 times and kept thinking "Why do I have to pee so much?!" and when I finally got on the scale in the morning it had gone down almost 4 whole pounds! Mystery solved.)
I had a bit of an unintentional splurge yesterday, a BIG piece of cake was calling my name that I most definitely did not have the calorie budget for. In a moment of weakness I ate the whole thing. Sadly it didn't feel great. Back on track today! This week I'm going to be way more strict with calories, I've been a little lax lately and I don't want it catching up with me.4
