(Early Grass Cutters) I think it is VERY selfish and RUDE to cut grass too early in the morning. ...it shows that you have absolutely NO concern or thought about your neighbors at all (in this world people who only want to think of themselves, should make sure that they live by themselves) move to Secluded areas ONLY, and have NO neighbors

Yea I'd say probably 8am during the week, but probably wait until around 10am on the weekends...

Same as calling people- noisy yard work should be done 9am to 9pm.

Whatever your city ordinance dictates. However etiquette would likely say after 9am or later.

I expect when there is light out work can start. And it can continue till wee dusk.

Dew doesn't effect cut but does effect collection, where grass clumps in the shoot and collection bag.

Wait? There are times you aren't supposed to drink? Now I feel like a lush.

I once worked at a Golf Course, we started mowing at 5:00am. IF we had a big tournament come through we'd start at 4:00am.

So I don't have a problem cutting at night, stupid early in the morning.

If you're drinking Rum it's okay.... just call your self a Pirate, or refer to yourself as Edward Thatch.

Answering the other question: wet grass will either stick to the underside of the deck, and then stink.... or it will rust out the mower deck. My last mower rusted out to the point where the motor hit the ground

I'm up at 4am on the weekends, but, out of courtesy to my neighbors, I never mow before 9am.

How early is too early for my neighbors to hear the mower? Also, what how does dew affect grass cutting?

In my area, people do it as early as 6:00am and I've occasionally done it too. As to the dew, it will make the grass damp and perhaps clog the underside of the lawn mower a bit more, but that's not a major issue unless the grass is quite tall.

It's 5pm somewhere as the saying goes. ;)

I agree with 9am but if it takes you a while to mow (bigger yard) plan to be done by 9pm.

My neighbor mowed his lawn at 10:30 pm once. I almost ran him over with his own mower. It stopped pretty quickly but the former mayor lives on my street and is BFF's with the cops. I'm sure he made short work of that fiasco.

Not before 10am ever. Not all people work in the morning and want to be woken up at 7 or 8am. However, some lucky people, like my husband, can sleep through anything.
