I had the $10/month membership, it's been about a year since I left though, so I don't know if things have changed0

Just ask who is working the front desk. After telling you just sign-up, they may set you up with a exercise specialist there who will get your starting measurements and give you the "lay of the land". They may even suggest which machines and equipment to use for your desired fitness goals!0

At planet fitness? Maybe things have changed but they are a bare basic place. A room with machines and you have at it lol That is why I left. I liked the idea of having a trainer who kept track of progress and such on hand to help if you needed it.0 -
i wanna know how i sign in0

I am not sure this is a forum question When I was there I had a key chain thing and they scanned it in for me. I had the 10 dollar plan, took my picture too. Why don't you ...go ask the folks at the counter...?
They may have just forgotten to do it.0 -
I have the $10/month plan too, but I have a key tag and I show it to them when I come in. Did you sign up online? Maybe the first day you go in they give you a key tag.
@cheeksy: yeah at least at my Planet Fitness they have trainers there that write up a work out plan based on your goals, there are also "classes" that will go over all the equipment. There is a free weight section, a circuit training section, weight machines and then cardio machines.
When I set up my workout plan he just highlighted three "groups" and I was to do one group one day, cardio the next, 2nd group, cardio, 3rd group, cardio, rest. He gave the sets per exercise and then let me go...I do wish I would have gotten more of an instruction about how to use the machines etc...I am quite the noob at weights LOL0 -

If you signed up online, you need to talk to one of the people behind the counter when you walk in. They will give you a key ring with your membership number on it. You just show it every time you go in.0

They will give you a key card when you come in the first time. After that you'll just need to tell them your number or show them the card. Pretty easy0

ahhh thank you very much....I called them yesterday and they kept thinking I wanted to sign up for personal training they werent understanding it0 -
The one I go to- when I signed up on line when you go in on the first day just tell them you signed up on line and they will look you up on the computer and take your picture then give you a key tag... and if you forget your keyes you can just tell them your number0
