    This diet claims that it is more effective at burning body fat..
    It is basically keto.

    Did you know that if you consumed less calories than you need to maintain your body weight, that'll happen as well without buying some silly book and demonizing foods like poor carbs? You can lose weight eating carbs, too!

    Too funny jokes aside...

    OP - The most important thing I learned on these forums from folks who not only lost weight but are long time maintainers, is that you need to find a way of eating that you can sustain for the rest of your life.

    If you can eliminate most processed food and not "fall off" then go for it. If you can't think of eating this way I'd say maybe check into just eating what you love to eat in a calorie deficit.
