Unexplained weight gain

I gained 3 pounds seemingly without having changed the amount of calories I eat, in fact I ate a healthy dinner of 2 chicken breasts and yellow rice and my weight spiked upwards of 3 pounds
I don't understand how this happened, it was lean unprocessed chicken breasts, my calories were low, around 2,000,
I don't understand what happened
So just to recap I was steadily losing weight until last nights dinner of 2 lean chicken breasts and rice

Water weight -weight fluctuates and weight loss isn't linear.1

You have asked a variation of this question twice before. The answer is the same. Sodium isn't the only thing which causes water retention. Chill. You didn't gain 3lbs overnight, same way you didn't the last two times you asked the same thing.5
