Hi there, I would like to purchase a Heart Rate Monitor but I have seen that they are really expensive, as a student I am on a budget so would like to find one that calculates calories at a reasonable price. Any suggestions please? (I live in Birmingham, UK)

Lidl have a load of fitness stuff on offer at the moment, including a heart rate monitor (at £12.99 I think...)- I can't comment on the quality as I don't have one, but Lidl stuff is generally very good and if you find it is rubbish you can always take it back within 30 days.
I don't know if you are familiar with Lidl but they have different special offers each week and the 'fitness' offers ended yesterday, so if you want one get down there quick sticks - they'll remain on the shelves until they are sold out, but 'once they're gone, they're gone!'
