Since I got my 800 minutes in December, I think I will see if I can start the year with 900 minutes on my trainer. If I can find my BT speed/cadence sensor, I may put a distance measure in there, but it seems to be hiding from me.

January 1st 0 minutes. I am just too tired after not getting to sleep until 4:30AM and then waking up at 9AM.

I'm back from the December challenge! I'm still on a trainer, but I do get mileage logged from it, so will be reporting miles. I'm The training program I'm on is ending next week, and a new one starts after that, so I'm going to be mildly conservative and aim for 300 miles. Today was a good start for it, and since Sunday is my reporting day for this, here we go:

    Jan 1 - 37.3mi

Trying to stick to my Trainer Road plan. I have a hard time staying focused on indoor rides longer than an hour. How does everyone here avoid boredom?

    Jan 2: 9.3 mi, 45min. Thunderbolt - TrainerRoad

I wish I had distance measure with my trainer. If I could just find my BT speed and cadence sensor. It came off early in the summer, and I put it in a "good" place since I don't need it outside since my Moov Now will measure cadence and distance and speed are handled by the app using GPS. Now I am back to indoor training, it would be nice to have the distance, albeit, it isn't really the same as the distance outside.

I'm back in. Had to ease off the bike the end of last year due to back issues but I've been given the all clear to get back on it again.

Goal for January 2017 is 400km

I'm in this month. I missed being in it last month. I will set my goal at 200 miles combination of indoors and outdoors. Depends on the weather and snow for outside.

So I have motivation this time - I've put my name down for a 40 mile charity bike ride in mid-March, which is quite ambitious by my standards, and the first time I've ever attempted one. It will take some preparation, but I'm up for it!
    Slow start this month, but
    1 Jan 12km indoor
    4 jan 20.24km Burghfield village ave 15.6kmh gain 104m

I built a stand that holds my laptop that straddles my front wheel. I watch Netflix sometimes. I watch youtube video of cycling rides. Youtube also has interval videos that mixes it up by going all out then backing off.

Sometimes I just crank to Pandora workout music with a good beat.

I have challenged myself to watch an entire nfl football game. If there playing I'm riding. Commercials or halftime I stop and get a drink and rest.

good luck and glad to see your in the challenge
