Depends on the calorie content of what you're eating. I don't think I'd be able to feel full on no solid food and wouldn't be able to stick with it for more than half a day. "Cleanses" are pretty much nonsense, also.

If you're drinking smoothies that don't put you over your calorie allowance, sure. I find drinking calories is nowhere near as satisfying or satiating as eating though. I would be constantly hungry.

This. Just weigh your food and log it in MyFitnessPal.

Eat within your calorie limit and you'll lose weight.

You don't need to be on any sort of "diet". Just eat less calories than you burn.

I ate whatever I most wanted every day within my calorie limit, including alcohol and chocolate most days, and I lost 80lbs in 12 months.

You can lose weight by consuming anything in a deficit. Cleanses are complete nonsense though. Your body doesn't need cleansing (except the kind you do with soap and water).

You can, but after smoothies I tend to crash from the sugar rush. Then crave more sugar... endless cycle. Focus on fiber. Whole fruit (chewed not blended) will keep you feeling fuller longer, and be better for your blood sugar stability. Fiber is natures true "cleanser". It's like a toothbrush for your intestines.

You lose weight by being calorie deficit - end of the day calories are calories doesn't matter what you eat, you have to be in calorie deficit to lose weight
