Hi everyone! I've started eating low carb*25g per day* from being a high carb vegan. I've seen great results however I'm getting bored. What are you some of your favorite low carb snacks? I usually do cheddar sticks but I cannot stomach then any longer.

Thanks!

I might suggest joining the low carb group here... there are a few things that you should know in order to avoid "keto flu" symptoms. I'm going to assume you have done your research, though, and just answer your original question. You mention cheddar sticks, which I assume are a cheese stick? So you are no longer vegan? If not, here are some low carb snack suggestions:

    Dill pickles
Meat sticks (Slim Jim's, Jack Link's, etc.)
    Pork rinds
Tuna packs - add some salad dressing for taste and to make it less dry

If you have a microwave, throw some pepperoni slices in a bowl, add shredded cheese on top, then microwave for 10-30 seconds depending on quantity and the power of your microwave. Then eat with a fork.

ETA: Peanut butter, and peanuts. Be careful on volume if you are trying to stick with 25g net carbs per day. I personally find it easy to go through a whole jar of peanuts or peanut butter in just a few minutes, which means a low-er carb food results in a lot of carbs for the day strictly because of volume.

    It is this group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group

On your smart-phone, from the Community section, I think you can go to the top menu where that icon that looks like a text box is at (far left icon), then select Groups. Scroll down to Popular groups, and it is listed within the first few groups.

Thank you so much! This is incredibly helpful. And yes, I read up on keto flu so I armed myself with some keto-ade :)
