brussel sprouts - fresh roasted or sautéed in oil = yum; frozen, boiled or steamed = yuck
oats - in cookies or toasted = yum; cooked in liquid = yuck
raw tomatoes - fresh from the garden or farmer's market = yum; fresh from the grocery = yuck
dark leafy greens (any - spinach, collards, kale, turnip, etc.) - fresh, lightly cooked or frozen = yum; overcooked or canned = slimy yuck!

Like raw carrots, hate cooked carrots

All this on the carrots. What happens when you cook them? They go from crunchy, fresh loveliness to sweet and squashy. So wrong.

Fruit as a sweet - oh, yes, feed me alllllll those fruits!

Fruit as part of anything savoury? Get behind me, Satan!

Especially pineapple. Keep that nastiness off my pizza!

Grilled with a little brown sugar on it's own? Delicious.

    Raw Grapes = Good
Anything Grape Flavored = Foul, disgusting lies.

    Oranges = Good
    Anything Orange Flavored = Gross

Kinda like this for me too, with pretty much any fruit really, but mostly cherries.

My biggest one is butter. I can't stand sticks of butter (I feel like they absorb al the smells of fridge, but love thebspreadable container type. Must be land o lakes though.

If realized that canned mushrooms, canned spinach, or canned asparagus were actually still considered to be food, I would've put those in my initial answer.

(I like all of them very well raw - well, lightly cooked, for the asparagus, raw is meh - or cooked fresh. Frozen mushrooms are OK if one cooks them, I can eat frozen spinach, but frozen asparagus is just slimy bad.)

There used to be canned zucchini in the stores (decades ago), but I'm hoping that's faded from existence. Of all the veggies you shouldn't can . . . !

I can't even pick it off and still eat the pizza, because the pineapple leaves its sweetness behind. :s

I have not met a pre-packaged brussel sprout that I did not loathe. But produce section fresh, sauteed in a little olive oil with garlic and various seasonings: yum.

I only eat eggs scrambled or hard boiled/deviled. Can't stand them if the yolk is runny or in a salad. Also I like carrots, celery on their own (with or without dip) but don't like them in a salad.

I have never tried cottage cheese. The look/texture is revolting and I can't get past that to actually try it.

Sure. Seaweed as the wrap in sushi maki? Good. Seaweed salad? All kinds of blllechhh, no thanks. Maybe it's the difference between nori and wakame, maybe it's that the nori is a minimal part of the maki, maybe it's the dry(ish) vs. rehydrated and effect of that on perceived texture - dunno, don't care, not eating seaweed salad.

OP, you know mayo actually contains eggs, right? ;)

Lol - yes but it is just ... different!

That's my issue with olives and celery. Can't have anything with olives in it because it ruins the taste of the whole thing.

If we're talking combination... anything savory with maple flavor or anything sweet with bacon. Just no.
