I tried Keto, failed. I tried eating low calories, failed, I am a diet hopper and I want to quit...I went on my own path. I started working out. Not really counting what I ate. I swear my pounds stay the same, my inches and photos stay the same. So I decided, time to get back on MFP and track my intake while i lift and do cardio...Looking for people for motivation!!!
Thank!!!!

Don't do keto or super low, stay in a modest deficit and you'll be fine1

We can't give you motivation. That has to come from you. You have to WANT it, COMMIT to it, and follow through. There isn't some magical diet that will be your hero. We cannot want weight loss and body tranformation into happening. If you aren't ready to stick with a lifestyle change for months, years, and the rest of your life then you won't be successful. We can give advice, direction, and encouragement but the motivation has to come from within you.
However, we are all here to support and encourage each other, and you took the first step to being successful by joining our community. So welcome back1 -
I needed that! You are without a doubt right! thank you!0

the only people who are successful and remain successful at weight loss and maintaining do so because they took the time to research, Ditch the diet woo and broscience, Reflect internally and really take the time to listen to their body and what it needs. No diet will be for you, Except YOUR diet. People can tell you to eat this...eat that...dont eat this...but if soemthign keeps you satisfied and mentally happy theres no reason to not eat it if it fits your calories. People told me to eat low carb, But i realized i was miserable and high carb is for me. And second i dropped all the woo and what people were telling me i needed, And listened to myself, And what foods made me feel happy and satisfied, pounds started falling off, And i was happy and satisfied with my diet.
do yourself t he favor of researching and trial and error, Its all VERY important long term, And its not a fail for now. If your learning about what works and doesnt work for your body it doesnt matter if something didnt work and you fell off the wagon, Get back on it and try something new. After a while youll know what works and be able to do it for the rest of your life happily.
Edit: Felt i should point out i lost my weight (85 pounds in 10 months) Eating whatever i want. burgers, wraps, chocolate, cookies. I just prioritized and found lower calorie options where i could without sacrificing the delicious. Sort of like saying ill only drink booze once a week. Can still have everythign just takes some creativity to make it fit in2 -
I like that! Today I made my first protein pancakes and topped them with halo top ice cream. (i have never been a big syrup person so i think i found my new breakfast lol)
Thanks Jaydedmiss!!!0
