I haven't had a great Feb/Mar, not eating the best choices, litle sleep, not enough exercise and no gym time due to new puppy, then sick old old and then I got sick. I'm ticked that I've lost a lot of endurance and toning.
Plus side to all of this: I maintained weight through out it, up and down a few pounds which actually makes me happy. I didn't let it all go to crap and kept myself mainly accountable. Yeah, measurements aren't any better (some went up. Eep!) But I'm trying to focus on the bigger picture that I didn't let this kick my butt and back slide into complete unhealthy choices and undo all the hard work I've done so far.
Today I felt a lot better, no more sick so I went out and took the puppy for two 2.5km training walks and took my middle dog out for a qqk walk. I hit 30k steps for the first time on my Fitbit! Whee! New badge!

Today I tried on some pairs of old jeans that I haven't been able to wear for awhile. I have one pair in specific that I wore for my senior pictures and swore I'd get back into them someday. Well, today I got them on and buttoned!! Still would like to lose a little more before incorporating them into my closet, but still so happy to be able to put them on! I was also able to put on the ring that my fiancé had got me for our one year anniversary five years ago. It stopped fitting at the beginning of last summer, and was one of the signs I really needed to get my health back on track (though I didn't end up doing so until February19

Last month I could only do 10 full commando planks before moving onto my knees but today I did 35!25

I spent yesterday working in the garden shovelling and barrowing compost. Last time I did this about 6 months ago it felt like it nearly killed me however now I'm much fitter I did it with relative ease, almost 3pm the next day and I'm not stiff or sore
This morning I put on the work pants that were a bit tight in Januray and had to take them off again bebecause I was worried that they would fall down - I'm trying to hang on a bit longer before I go shopping though as I'm now less than 4kgs to goal.18 -
Yesterday after my big group ride I didn't eat all my calories back! Big one for sure! I've been a cyclist for a long time and use it as my "eat all the things" excuse....not yesterday. Baby steps18

1.) I have finally hit a point with food where I can get part way through a meal and realize that I am not "full" or "stuffed" but simply am not hungry anymore and put the fork down.
2.) I completed week 7 day 1 of C25K this morning, the 25 minute run, and it really wasn't too bad although I didnt quite his the 2 1/2 miles. The last 6 minutes were a bit rough but I made it through just fine. When i finished it occurred to me that I have one week left before I finish C25K - I AM ACTUALLY GOING TO FINISH C25k - I never would have dreamed that was even possible!42 -
This weekend was a great weekend for me.
1. I didn't let the BF's snacking , lead to me consuming mass amounts of junk food during movie night.
2. I did 40 squats this weekend. (Bad knees so this was fantastic.)
3. Only ate half my breakfast because I was full. I didn't eat all my yummy fabulous pancakes.
4. I resisted Starbucks this morning. I really, really wanted one.28 -
Just had first comment from someone at work
'how much you lost now? it is showing'
yay!
really needed an NSV today, have been in a craptastic mood!21 -
Was unwell with a bad tummy yesterday but today still got up and did my Wk14 D1 run! I managed to do the whole hour non stop and really proud of myself.
On holiday next week and should have gone shopping yesterday but due to my bad tummy stayed home. Today, I decided to clean out my wardrobe and "found" so many peices of clothes that was previously too tight. Don't need to go shopping anymore.22 -
In my martial arts tournament this weekend, when they split us up into divisions, I wasn't with the heavy/super heavy weights group. I was in the division with all the skinny guys
I didn't win the tournament, but I feel like I won a battle of sorts to no longer be in the 'big guy' group.41 -
I made absolutely fantastic chocolatey brownies last night for dinner with our friends, and my NSV is that I sent the remainder of them to work with my husband today... Lol! It's the little things.34

A couple for me. I was feeling bummed after my nephew had posted that he had biked over 400 miles in March and I had only done 106 and thinking I could never do that many in a month. He lives in Arizona, I am in Iowa so he had better weather. Then I remember to check my stats for last year and I have several months where I had over 400 miles in a month and one month over 500 miles. So had to laugh at myself for such a short memory.
I make a salad every day to take to work for my lunch. No lettuce in the house so my salad today consists of a base of cauliflower and the usual other vegetables. Will need to make a stop at the store tonight as used all the vegetables in the refrigerator.27 -
I had some salty take-out yesterday and the scale is up a couple of pounds today, and it will probably be up more tomorrow.
However, I needed to put on a belt with my just-out-of-the-dryer jeans this morning, so I'll survive.36 -
I was at ross buying new sneakers. Well i was tempted by the whole checkout area full of lidor chocolates (great in moderation but i can't have a whole bag in the house) I distracted myself and only ended up getting sneakers and. New water bottle18

I was able to go down another belt loop today.20

I put on a pair of jeans fresh from the dryer and didn't have to lay on the bed to zip them up!33

Was surrounded by delicious food at work yesterday. The guy who made it is an amazing cook. But I had already pre-planned and packed all my meals for the day (11 hour shift and hour + commute). And I stuck with my food. Even though I was getting some pressure to eat the yummy food. And it looked and smelled delicious. I know I could have indulged and stayed within my calories but I had not prepared for that. So I stuck to MY PLAN. Me? Who knew I had it in me?31
