I walked 2 miles today. My workout details say I walked 5.1K. What does that mean? Thanks.

2 miles is the Imperial measure of the distance you walked, 5.1K is the metric equivalent.2

Are you using a fitness tracker? I would guess that it's taken the 2 miles you walked deliberately, added it to the incidental steps you got throughout your day and MFP is displaying that distance converted to kilometers.0

5km or 5k steps? 5km is 3.1 miles.3

That's incorrect, however. 5 kilometres is approximately 3.1 miles and 2 miles is approximately 3.2 kilometres.
I also suspect that the OP might have walked 5000 steps.0 -
My steps for 2 miles is just over 5000 steps (5k), so I would think, unless you are tall with a long stride, it is how many steps you took in your 2 mile walk.
Kilometres are generally shown as km; thousands as k. ( though I have seen a few of the trackers tend not to follow this norm).
