NHS healthcare has published some that even have tips and tricks embedded in them. You can get it in iTunes.

You can view more info here: http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/c25k/Pages/couch-to-5k.aspx

When you finish c25k, there is c25k+

My husband and I used the nhs c25k podcasts last summer & really liked it. I'm going to check out the other link now, thanks!

While I was gone I found some awesome running groups on Facebook. Run JunkEes Run Club, and Meg's Miles are two amazing support groups in Facebook for running. Both have Facebook groups and have become major running groups on social media.

I use smashrun for uploading my running data to. It's extremely nerdy, consistantly gets new nerdy stuff added, and looks nice. I like it. If you want to you can add me as friend: http://smashrun.com/yirara.ra/invite

Just started and using zenlabs (the original C25K) free version - man there are a lot of ads and it makes using the app 'in-motion' difficult. Only two days in and I might swap to something else.

Update - I despise the zenlabs free version. In addition to the above the 'timing' screen keeps disappearing for adverts and when you remove the adverts it goes to the community home page. The app eats my battery so I put auto lock mode on today. I kept getting the messages "start walking", "start jogging" and when I had done the 9th of my 8 jogs I am supposed to do I checked the timings and after 26 minutes of a 30 minute work out I had 17 minutes left. I then left the app 'on' to complete and it ate the 20% of battery remaining before it completed the workout losing today's routine. IT SUCKS!

For C25K the NHS programme really worked for me from pretty much a no exercise starting point. A good balance of occasional encouragement without being too interrupting. In the early stages 5 minutes seemed a very long time without a hint when actually that was just me struggling and hoping for the end of the run stage.
