camera recommendations??

Totally off topic, but does anyone recommend a good inexpensive camera? I have had Nikon and Cannon and they both lasted about a year and then crapped the bed. I am considering getting a sony now...

    if you want a good camera, best to spend a little. it'll be worth it and save you money when it lasts over a year. :D

    My professional camera is a Nikon but I use a sony cybershot as my point and shoot camera and I love it. Good photo quality.

    the problem is, I have spent close to 1000 bucks over the past 5 years on 3 different cameras and something always seems to happen to them, so I am not going to keep doing that. I am looking to spend under 200...
