Please help me with my diet!

So i want to loose weight and my goal is 5 lbs per week but i would like to know if that's a healthy way to do it. I've changed my eating habit for the past 3days and i feel like i'm going nuts because i can't stop thinking about food and i always feel hungry. Please look at my meals that I've been logging on here so i will know if I'm heading in the right direction. Thanks!

No its not healthy to lose 5 lbs per week. How much weight do you need to lose, how many calories are you eating?3

5 lbs a week is not doable. What is your height and current weight? What is your goal weight? Have you plugged your stats into MFP to get a recommendation? Depending on your current weight and amount of loss needed, you may be looking at anywhere from .5 to 2 lbs/week.1

Losing weight isn't a race; it's a marathon. Ever wonder why people that diet gain back all their weight a year later? It's because they do crazy crash diets like this and lose the will to keep up with them, so they go right back to their old eating habits.
You need to stick to a caloric limit you can maintain for the rest of your life, and lower it slightly if you begin to plateau and you're not where you want to be, otherwise you're going to drive yourself insane.2 -
Keep your diary private. We'll just pick on you otherwise.
Take it slow. Aim for 1-2 lbs per week. 1 is quite sustainable. Use the mfp settings to guide you. Type in your stats, select "sedintary" and set for 1lb a week loss to start.
Exercise, but be a bit conservative about eating the calories back.
You can learn to do this if you take your time.1 -
As others have said, 5 lbs is not a healthy plan.
As for the hunger, some hunger is normal and inevitable. If dieting didn't make you at least a little bit hungry, people wouldn't gain weight in the first place. You can adjust over time (your body will get a little bit more used to eating smaller portions) but there will probably always be times where you feel a little hungry and have to eat less food than you'd like. You can also manage hunger by choosing a good balance between fats, proteins, and carbs, or by playing with how you structure your meals (lots of little meals vs fewer big meals, whichever you find more filling.) But the first step is definitely to make sure your goal is healthy and appropriate.
And as a side note, I don't think MFP lets you set a goal of 5 pounds per week, so what did MFP say for your calorie goal?1 -

My height is 5.3
My weight is 215.8 i think
My goal weight is 135
And yes i put my goal in.0 -

Then I strongly suggest that you stick to either 1300 or 1400 calories. 1000 or less as you mentioned is very low calorie. Of course you're starving and thinking about food all the time! How much weight do you want to lose? Even if it were possible to lose 5 lbs per week (it is probably not possible at your size) would you rather torture yourself for a few months just to get to your goal weight and then gain it all back when you eat more than 1000 calories, or would you rather make small changes, learn what foods fill you up and don't send you over your calorie goal, and get on a way of eating you can stick with forever?1 -
Have you ever researched the keto diet? If you have health issues such as diabetes it can help you control your disease. Although if you are free to eat whatever carbs you would like then when you go off of the diet, I imagine you would gain the weight back.0

Ok i will start researching the best foods with fewer calories and start a healthy lifestyle that i will benefit from in the long run. Thank you!1 -

@shashadoctor843: You can do this! Small changes really add up over time. I keep telling everyone to focus on the big picture, live a full life, do the things you find fun. The tools of weight management (portion control, balancing macros) are great habits to cultivate, but it won't do much for you if you aren't happy overall.1

Trying to speed diet is the best way possible to end up skinny fat, unhealthy or sick or injured, and gain it all back in a few months after you've hit your goal weight. Dial it back to no more than 2lb per week loss, and you probably should set it to 1lb per week and loose any extra through exercise.2
