I did 3 pilates workouts this week. Yay! I went for a swim and did some water aerobics. That was so fun. Generally it was a very active week for me. I also took my mum on a couple of walks and now she wants to walk more too. My sister-in-law treated me to a relaxing spa day. It was sooooo relaxing and refreshing.

I've lost 1kg since last week. Even though it's higher than what I'd like it to be, I'm still not worried about it, yet. My muscles are aching and I think it's down to the pilates that I've been doing.

Success/struggles of the week: Being new to maintenance, I am trying to find my new normal as far as calories are concerned, a common theme amongst new maintainers. Lowered my range to be under 140, was at that point a couple of days last week for no apparent reason and then down a bit but not at my lowest which was Thursday. Trying not to be too bothered by a 1-2 lbs. fluctuation.

Success / struggles of the week : I just realized that i had about 10 lbs worth of fluctuations in June. Nothing much new this week. I might need a hip surgery to fix the damage from bike crash from over a year ago. It's been bothering me for a long time, went to see orthopedist and got an MRI. He can't do that procedure and referred me to other ortho dr. Will have a consult in a couple of weeks. Not happy about the whole thing. I would much prefer conservative treatment, phisical therapy, ice, ect to surgery. Doesn't seem like those will correct the damaged joint. Ugghh. Plus, there are some other findings from MRI that are worrisome. Gotta look into that as well. All good weight wise though, it's a plus. Happy 4th to all Americans!

How long in maintenance: Since mid-January 2017 (5 months ago)
Maintenance weight range: ~120-125 lbs, for now (shooting for an eventual range of 115-120 lbs =~30 lb total loss)

Average weight recorded from January: 123.2 lbs
Average weight recorded from February: 122.1 lbs
Average weight recorded from March: 121.4 lbs
Average weight recorded from April: 122.4 lbs
Average weight recorded from May: 120.6 lbs
Average weight recorded from June: 122.6 lbs

Week of...(I weigh for record on Fridays)...
    3 July (7 July): 124.2 lbs (Trending 123.49 lbs)
    10 July (14 July):
    17 July (21 July):
24 July (21 July): (out of town)
    31 July (4 August):

    Successes/challenges of this week:
    Successes:
    - Started a more focused gym workout plan to target strengthening my lower back, and working on my core again. Seems do-able, and plan to hit it again today when I get to the gym.
    - Finally got the raceboard out this week. My clocked 1 mile time wasn't the greatest (18:37), but it wasn't too bad either with the light chop and wind, especially after not being on the water with it in weeks. Now to start to paddle consistently again as I have a race in three weeks.
    Challenges:
    - Weight is trending up, and this was the first month since I started my weight loss journey in May 2016 that I logged a gain on the first of the month. I'm also at the upper end of my maintenance range today which I would blame on DOMS; however, my monthly measurements are also up, so it's time to really get serious with tightening up, and probably need to go back to a minor calorie deficit (preferably by working out more) to get back on track.
    - I have been eating poorly for the past few weeks and not working out due to not feeling well (old lady issues/hormones), so it's not surprising that all my measurements went up. I really need to start preparing food weekly again, but have been lacking motivation. Time for me to figure out something to motivate me - I may need to get myself back into some old accountability threads.
    - Maintenance is harder for me than losing as I just want to be a complete slug and slack off from doing what got me to goal. Need to treat this as a consistent/persistent journey instead of a target.

@MichSmish Like your new pic! Great job staying within maintenance!

Almost forgot to post this week.

117# again. Spent so much time south of this number that it feels high, yet it is still underweight for my height. Clothes still fit rather loosely at the same size I wore at 114#. Life is good.

Time it took to lose: 2 1/2 years
How long in maintenance: 9/20/16 first day of weight within maint range
    Maintenance weight range: 150-155

    Jan avg 154.3
    Feb avg 155.1
    March avg 155.9
    April avg 154.7
    May avg 155.4
June avg 155.4 (2 weeks only, gone rest of month)

    7/4 156.0
    7/9 155.8

Today I deleted several days of data from Libra (daily logging app) to remove the ridiculous water weight numbers right after my trip. (I fluctuated up about 5 lb over my usual high.) They were just skewing the trend line too much, even after 3 weeks.

I had good workouts and good steps number this week!

Only positive, is that I did 1 hours worth of outdoor cycling. I hadn't done so in years (excluding spin classes). Everything else is BAD. I now definitely need to get my act together. I'm 5kgs above my average from this time last year.
