Cardio is also a good way to get lean0

Put your correct stats and goals into mfp and get a calorie goal. Log your food and get your diet under control. You can't out exercise a bad diet. The kind of foods you eat are personal preference.
Then do some cardio to burn some calories and lift some weights to preserve or build muscle.3 -

Consume fewer calories than you spend in a day. Eat healthy calories (lean beef, roasted potatoes and fresh veggies vs a candy bar and soda). Exercise regularly, cardio and weight lifting.
Basically what every doctor and nutritionist says: eat healthy & exercise. It really is that simple. If you want to see what two years of eating healthy and exercise looks like. Go look at my page, there's a picture of me two years ago and two days ago. HUGE difference!!!!0
