    Successes: Home renovations and picking décor kept us not eating out and not snacking but yet not feeling like we worked hard enough for a lot of beer. Finally strung two weekends together in a row where I did not blow my progress. Being able to focus on loosing more weight and not working back to where I was on Thursday is refreshing!

    Struggles: Family arrives tomorrow for a week's stay. I am not able to log or look like I am watching my weight around them. Going to try to rely on the portion sizes and diet choices I have gotten used to seeing on my plate lately without access to a food scale or control over what goes into the recipes.

    Started to do plyometric HIIT this week. Was almost out of breath at the end of every move!!
    Feeling quite challenged though, will put on dumbbells to increase the training weight next week!

    Successes / struggles this week: Not getting activity has really had a massive impact on my life. I bounced up to 229 at the beginning of July, because I didn't eat as healthy as I should have, and didn't control my portions. Ever so grateful to have my medical restrictions lifted so I can at least walk 30 mins. 5x a week, if nothing else.

    This is all on me, I hold myself accountable, but also am motivated and encouraged to see a decent loss after only one week of clean eating. Today's breakfast was an apple-blackberry smoothie. Lunch is portioned cheese and nuts: filling and healthy oils and protein.

    Successes / struggles this week: been sick this last week and hungry all the time. Tried my first 5K and wasn't able to make it got 60% of the way. got completely overheated. It really hit me hard not being able to finish it. But looking back at it, it could have been that was the start of the sickness.

    NSV - Sunday I wore a bathing suit that didn't hide my thighs. Initially I was proud of myself when I put it on, then I was embarrassed because it was not very supportive on top either lol, and I almost talked myself out of wearing it. And I decided, I'm going to the pool for me. Not for anyone else and their judging, glaring eyes. If you don't like what I look like...LOOK AWAY....cause I'm here to stay!

    That is so awesome, that is a huge victory. You have to live your life for you, people are going to have an opinion no matter what, you can't let it stop you from enjoying yourself.

    Successes / struggles this week: I was gone on vacation for the past 8 days so I'm late to weigh in. I debated skipping weigh-in this week and waiting until Monday to let some post-vacation bloat settle. I adjusted my calorie limit (moved up to only 1/2 lb loss per week) and committed to be active for 20 minutes every day. And I actually stuck to my calories all but one day and exercised! Usually I go into 'vacation-mode' and anything goes. So I'm really happy to see a loss no matter how small. The scale may be moving slower than I'd like but overall I'm feeling great and happy with some changes in habits.

    Successes / struggles this week: I am just getting started (again) and I need to get my *kitten* together... I know what I have to do, but I have to get my head in the game. Checking in and staying accountable is necessary for my success so here I am. I got off the couch last night and put in a 30 minute workout and got up this morning and got to a jazzercise class. Win! Now I just need to stay away from the sugary treats and make sure everything I grab has value!

    Successes - Did some cycling. First time back on the bike since rupturing a knee ligament. Hence the 1lb loss.

    Struggles this week: Still over eating. So will probably go back up by the 17th.
