How much did you lose...

... in the first few weeks and months of adopting OMAD?
I know there are a plethora of factors that affect weight loss, but I am supremely nosy and enjoy reading others' success stories despite that.
Please share if you're willing (along with any advice you wish you'd received when you first started, if you feel so inclined!).

Hi Britt, I lost 11 pounds from intermittent fasting 16/8 from March 5, 2017 to April 13, 2017. Since April 13th and beyond, I've been doing OMAD (13 weeks) and have lost an additional 30 pounds so far. I fast 23 hours/daily and the only time I've gone over that fasting time is if something unexpected happens. I haven't restricted any foods, but I do try to eat mostly whole foods, but I have non-whole foods as well sometimes--though I will be restricting foods with trans and saturated fats now to try and lower my bad cholesterol, and quit smoking as well. :-)

When I started on OMAD I lost 38 pounds over the first 75 days.
During this time I did OMAD every single day, no splurges, and no excercise.

Thank you for your responses, and WOW! You all have had such awesome results! How inspiring!
I need to lose about 32 lbs, and I would be thrilled if it happened as quickly as it did for you all.

@jvcinv I like what you said about really sticking to the basic plan. I had planned to pick up lifting once I'm in my new house, but now I'm wondering if I should really just focus on making sure OMAD is firmly set as a lifestyle before adding anything else.

I completely agree that in the beginning you should focus only on the OMAD lifestyle change. Have some patience, give your body a chance to adapt, get used to planning your daily meals for months on end. You'll lose weight but since it's not a race no need to worry if it' not quite as much as others. For me there came a time months down the road where it just seemed very easy. Only at that point did I start to add some variations.

I agree with Jim. Take one step at a time. I did not start exercising until I was 3 months into OMAD. Now also I don't overdo it.

I've lost 87lbs being OMAD so far. The majority between November and march. It started slowing down after that but still fairly consistent.

I ate whatever I wanted all day with no calorie or carb counting...If I went to the movies I would eat popcorn with extra butter and also go out for Chinese or Fast Food and I would also snack during the day either on chocolate bars or Ice cream :p

I lost about 42 lbs after 5.5-months. Been mostly maintenance since with a couple of gaining back 10-lbs episodes and losing them again.

I started on May 23rd at 199.5 and I just weighed in at 186.8. I prefer to look at the moving average though which looks like this:

    I've lost 12lbs in 6 weeks.
I was 110lbs to begin with and got down to 98lbs in 6 weeks. (I'm 5'1")
This was without calorie counting, eating what I wanted and no exercise.

Thanks :) Breaking that plateau was HARD - it's really difficult to stay the course when you're stuck, but I 've learned to trust the process and MOVE ON <3

That's very impressive! Doesn't look like you've hit any stalls or plateaus! Keep up the great maintenance!
