Post baby weight loss help!!

I am looking for advice on lossing this stubborn fat post baby! It has been about 7 months since I had my daughter and my weight has not seemed to budge. I already know that I'm under calories every day so eating fewer calories is not the issue. For instance I usually only eat one snack and mainly one meal a day because I'm either just to busy to ever 'feel' hungry or I just don't have time for myself. My culprit however might be the late night craves when baby and husband are in bed for the night. I often find that no matter what I do during the day (I usually take baby for a 3 mile walk in the am) I am always wide awake!!
My issue is really my belly fat. I weight about 76-77kg and the lowest I've managed to get to is 71kg. Before I got pregnant I weighed between 56-58kg and that is my ultimate goal weight, I'm 5'4 in height. Maybe I should focus more on exercise since my calorie count is low? I'm just looking for some tips and possible pointers to get me in the right direction!
Thanks in advance!

You might not be eating enough. Have you been weighing all your food and logging it?1

are you logging your late night snacks?1

I would focus a little more on exercise that helps you to build up some muscle. If you have a bit more muscle your body will burn more. But, you do want to make sure you are getting enough calories and the previous poster mentioned. If you aren't eating enough your body will resist burning fat.
What are you snacking on at night? Can you switch it for fresh veggies or fruit?0 -

Nope. Your body does not resist burning fat if it's in a calorie deficit, and it's quite difficult to build muscle while losing weight.
OP, how are you measuring your calorie intake?0 -
So I typically make all of my meals myself and weigh out whatever I prepare (uncooked). For instance if I know I'm going to use coconut oil I just add how much I used for calorie purposes like 2 tbsp etc etc. and I just log each individual Ingredient based on how much I used when cooking and I always eat it's entirety to make sure my calories are accurate. Even if I'm eat so few calories I never feel hungry! So that confuses me. I'll admit I do tend to indulge my evening craves. I've tried to mentally prepare for these snack attacks by either drinking a glass of water when I feel a heavy urge come on (this way it will tell my brain that I'm filling up) and if that doesn't help I just brush my teeth (no body likes the taste of tooth paste and food!). Haha. I'm taking this one day at a time though. I'm not so much stuck on the number on the scale, more my personal image and I certainly don't want to be skinny fat! So I'm just going to need to log some extra time working out ?0

you still didn't really answer this, so if you aren't then you need to be sure to start doing that. If you don't know what you are eating then you can't know what to expect.jrountree15 wrote: »So I'm just going to need to log some extra time working out ?
If you don't want to lower your calories and are unhappy with your loss rate then yes, you need to increase your activity somehow.
