i just eat them out of the can . . . they're also good in any curry recipe that asks for chicken.

and there' the whole three[/four/five] bean salad thing. beans/chickpeas, olive oil, lemon or lime juice, any kind of crunchy veg like snap peas or bell peppers for a touch of sweetness . . . green onions and PARSLEY.

Haha! I though of just eating them out of the can but something stopped me.
Thanks you! I love the sounds of that I will try the three four five salad

    Chocolate Chickpea Brownies!!!
    1 can of chickpeas
1/4 cup of unsalted organic butter
    2 large eggs
    1/2 cup pure maple syrup
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1 pinch sea salt/himalayan salt
1/4 cup of semisweet (or dark) chocolate chips

    Preheat oven to 350
Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Lightly coat with spray
Add all ingredients (except chocolate chips) to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
Add in chocolate chips and mix by hand until blended
    Evenly spread batter
Bake 25ish minutes - toothpick test it (insert into the center/comes out clean)
Take out/cool and cut into squares!

You can also sub the butter for EV organic coconut oil.

This is one of my favorite lunch recipes! I usually add feta cheese and eat it with chopped fresh spinach. Super healthy and super delicious!

Are you looking for primarily meatless recipes with chickpeas? I have a recipe for a lamb and chickpea soup that is really good. And a few salad recipes.

I posted a recipe for baked falafel on the previous page. I don't consider it to be quite as good as the traditional falafel, but it is tasty and it has fewer calories.
