Last night this protein angel food cake happened because my box of egg whites was about to expire.
8 egg whites or 1 cup
15g protein powder or half scoop
1tsp cream of tartar
1tsp vanilla extract
Beat all but protein powder until peaks form.
Fold in protein powder
Bake at 350F for 20 min.

Had half this morning with fruit and coffee for breakfast topped with Walden farms syrup.

Yes. Spray and smear a bit of oil in it and the cake wont stick either.
It will rise as it bakes, way over the top of the pan, but then collapse to level with the top of the pan as it cools.

I don't see why not, though you may want to add a little cocoa as well, depending how chocolaty you want it
wit hteh xanthan gum I would assume you don't need the cream of tartar, or less of it. I would probably go with vanilla, as angel food cake is usually vanilla, or just double the vanilla extract if using plain.
For the WHOLE thing as is.
