Do diets work?

ALL DIETS WORK if you follow instructions. They all follow a deficit plan for weight loss. ADHERENCE to the diet is the issue. Not many people can stick to a diet that deprives them of things they like to enjoy.

Apparently our only choices are deprivation or death...
Yes. Apparently there's no possibility whatsoever of a reasonable, sensible middle ground which takes personal preferences, context and dosage into consideration. Only one extreme or the other.10 -

Im going to eat what I want and as long as my health markers continue to improve thats all that matters. who knows I could be sitting on the toilet and have an aneurysm, either way you arent getting out of this world alive. even the healthiest person who eats the healthiest may get hit by a bus crossing the street.7

This is going to sound completely stupid, but how do you know it's a bot? Or rather how would a non human even be able to post like that?
You guys can all loudly laugh at me if that question is seriously as stupid as it sounds...1 -

You can - I say I prefer lean - actually bacon is quite healthy - you have to bit the bullet on the fat -but in Keto you burn that quickly
So wait. You're allowed to eat less-than-perfect foods because you determine the positives outweigh the negatives.
But if we do that and eat a cheeseburger, we're gonna die???
Please tell me there's a point in this thread where you went from legit arguing to just messing with us. Because the alternative is that you are just vomiting facts you've read on click-bait websites and genuinely have no idea what any of it means.
I mean, at this point, you're practically arguing with your own posts from earlier in the thread.
My philosophy - Low sugar - high protein(lean) - healthy fats - try to avoid saturated fat as much as possible - low carbs high fiber - at least half my body weight in ounces of water - Keto when Cutting Paleo when bulking - induldge every so often but not often

Burgers must have been in the air the last few days. My Valentine's Day dinner was a 1/2 lb cheeseburger with peanut butter, guava jelly and a slice of grilled pork belly.6 -
