I've tried: there is no way to be discrete, too many empty bread bits on your plate gives the game away! My advice: stand near a waste bin!3

Just back from the gym (only joined last week) instructor at my body pump class was impressed that apparently I am strong and not scared of lifting heavy and adding weight. I thought I was well mediocre as I am still working out the exercises and my form, so I am really happy with that comment13

Posts like this are why I'm unhappy they got rid of the Awesome button... Like just doesn't do it justice.4 -

I don't worry too much about being discrete when I am dismembering sandwiches.
Awesome, I now have a vision of pieces of bread being flung around the room!

I am in a clergy collar too. "Get thee behind me!"

@melmerritt33 @xDaniDragonflyx
Yeah, they don't usually have sandwiches at our meetings. But for holidays they do order meat/cheese and veggie trays, so that's usually fine.
My current NSV: one inch down on bust, waist, hips, and biceps! Woo hoo!7 -
About 6 months ago, I made my 12 year old watch "That Sugar Film." She is now about to turn 13 and ASKED to watch it again. Over the last couple year plus, I have slowly made inroads in improving her diet, and the diet of my wife. Having my daughter WANT to watch that again was great. BTW, if you have not seen it yet, I highly recommend it.6

That is a huge plus, @cstehansen, since I remember you've stated that your partner eats junk vegetarian style. Perhaps they will come around to a healthier way of eating (even if Keto is not for them).0

You can do keto as a vegetarian, it's just harder, but I started that way and it does still work, very limiting and boring very quickly.
Low carb vegetarian is pretty easy and has a lot of awesome options for food.
In any case, my arms are half an inch bigger...totally feeling like she-hulk these days!!!2 -
NSV 1: I have no spring/summer clothes. All my clothes became too large.
NSV 2: I went thrift store shopping and liked every darn thing I tried on. THAT has never happened before! I bought everything!

"That Sugar Film" is truly something we should all watch. Highly recommended. Thanks for mentioning it!0

She isn't nearly as bad as before. Of course, she is much more carb heave as a vegetarian, but bread is no longer in the house except rare occasions and she only eats pasta 2-3 times a month instead of 5-6 times a week. Cereal is gone from the house as well. I would say I have her to about 60-70% primal vegetarian now. The fact that she will eat eggs, HWC and cheese helps. I am just glad that the number of packaged "foods" in our house continues to decline.3 -

That is a good film and there is a Netflix documentary called "The Magic Pill". They work with several kids in this one, that have ADD and epilepsy issues. The changes are amazing. There are older folks too but the kids part had me in tears.1 -
High five, @cstehansen! Less packaged food in the house is a huge win!

For me, being down three pants sizes is a big win. It took some time and hard work but is totally worth it. I got my husband on keto in October as he’s struggled with weight for years and has had a chronic fistula from cancer treatment for almost 8 years. He saw his specialist recently and was told the new way of eating is definitely working on healing his wound. Here’s to hoping our new lifestyle resolves this long term issue!8

This week I had to use our laptop and the desk was too busy to put it there so... I put it on my lap. We actually have a lap now! lol.
No more balancing laptops or tablets or cats awkwardly on a huge belly. I don't know when this happened but I just noticed it this week. lol.16 -

Congrats to your hubby. And you!0 -
Yesterday was not amazing. lol I binged, which I haven't done in a long...LONG time. Which i suppose is actually a good thing. Silver lining and all that. Anyway, today my NSV is minor and rather routine but i'm starting there. Today i stuck to my 16 hr IF and got up and ran my 3 miles before heading into work.11

I did have a "SV" this week, but a big NSV this week was putting on some spring work pants that were snug last year, and realizing I PROBABLY should NOT wear them to work because I could pull them off without unzipping them!!!
LCHF is the first "diet" I have ever done where I'm losing inches even in the months that I'm not losing much weight. It's pretty cool!10 -
Hosted a bridal shower today and avoided pasta salad, rolls, potato chips, fruit, chocolates and the cake. Just had lunch meat with cheese, pickles and olives.10
