Being pleasantly surprised seeing my muscles when exercising or just in general - I forget they're visible now!16

I went to Target for some summer tank tops and went into the dressing room with 24 items, mostly mediums. Only 3 of them fit because apparently I'm a size small now haha. Also, I got a pair of jeans in size 2 (instead of 6 or 8 that I usually am in that brand)- I am very aware that it's partly vanity sizing but it's still nice since I've been lifting for a month and no weight loss but I can feel my body changing/clothes getting bigger.22

I've got a few. Today my surgeon cleared me to lift again. I'll be swimming in no time. Best of all he cleared me to start radiation in the next 4-6 weeks which is 3-4 months before originally anticipated because I healed so well. I do love beating the odds.36

I hiked 34 miles while on vacation and saw so many beautiful areas that I never would have seen, if I hadn't changed my eating habits.28

I focus on the pants because they are big indicators of weight loss. To me, they are the dragons I need to slay, the battles that need to be won to wear them again. However, every once in a while, I'll lay claim to a small victory. A baby dragon, perchance. Or maybe it is merely one of the "dragonpants'" minions.
Today is one of those days. Not only did I wake up with an almost 1kg loss, but I grabbed my summer jacket (I'm always cold; my work likes to blast the frigid air) without thinking and put it on. It was only after I got to work that I realized.
I must have conquered enough ground to force the dragonpants to spew treasures out of my closet.
I am able to once again wear my summer jacket and it's not tight like a sausage skin trying to squeeze me into a shape I'm not. It merely fits, which is the best feeling.
Yippee!! Next level of my epic closet (dungeon) crawl achieved!
Next up? Freeing the red leather jacket from the clutches of the dragonpants.40 -
I wear a short sleeved sweater like thing at work and when I was heavier, the sleeves wouldn't come down to cover my arms. I remember pulling them down all the time and feeling frustrated. Now they easily fall near my elbows. Also had a bunch of work out pants that I bought last year that were just too tight but I tried them on today and they fit fine. Yay! Now I have new work out pants to wear and I can get rid of the old unflattering ones. This is a great thread. It helps to remind me of my progress. Why should I give up now?21

Another colleague (actually my boss) said the other day that I looked like I lost weight. Although I felt a little awkward, I was able to use it to motivate myself a few times this week to stick to my plan.
It’s finally warm where I live (20+ C) and I’ve been wearing a pair of breezy trousers (that I didn’t dare to try to wear last year since even bending my knees slightly would have caused my bottom to rip through) and light blouses which are no longer trying to bust open at my chest.17 -
I have just moved house , so needed to change the address on my driving licence,but figured i better change the photo too... eight yrs apart (and yes i've gone pretty grey) but the 190lbs weight loss has been the last 27months.

Fell off the wagon and gained like 6 or 8 lbs. But I didn't fall off the exercise wagon and I've been working out more consistently than I ever have before, which is a NSV. Back to counting my calories. Day 2 complete.23

Today I noticed a box of chocolate covered chocolate donuts sitting on my kitchen counter. My husband decided to treat himself. I stood looking at them for about 10 full seconds, then just walked away. I used to LOVE eating those too. I'm proud of myself for that.39

Tonight, I ran around my parents’ yard, chasing and/or carrying my great nephew and great nieces. We were all laughing and carrying on. It was a blast. My husband watched from the deck and said he loved watching me play like that. My sister, also on the deck, said that I couldn’t have done that last year. And she was right! I felt like my carefree, happy self tonight for the first time in years! Btw, I’m 53, down 40# from September ‘17 with about 90# to go...45

Being able to graze my hand along my collarbone and actually feeling them there without putting any pressure on them.14

I work rotating shift work, and tonight was my first night shift since I started on MFP (630pm-0700am). Since 630 pm the only thing I had was 2 cups of coffee, my salad that I packed for dinner, 64ozs of water, and my 28 wasabi almonds. Normally I would snack all night long to stay awake. My first NSV since starting on Monday.33

Finding I’d finally dipped into “healthy” BMI for the first time in my adult life yesterday. 24.9! Whoop!47

I took my Mom out for an early Mother's Day lunch at her favorite restaurant had good time, a great meal, and stayed within calories.24
