@sufferlandrian, feelin' your pain.... For those of us with too much on our plates (metaphorically) the body goes, "Hmm, a few days off coming up, finally I will have a chance to get some down time, but ONLY if I get ill - then she (he) won't be able to pack anything extra into that time." Bad chest cough here, and hubby down sick too (for the same reasons).

Stomach bug here. I'd rather have the stomach bug than a cough. At least you can sleep with a stomach bug.

Getting punchy here at work. Started singing the "Wish I was a fishy in the brook" song.

Hubby took drugs and went off to work this morning... the fact that he even thought about it means he's on the mend. My dad & I took some light furniture (some dining room chairs and a large upholstered ottoman) over to their new senior residence.
I'll be glad when this move is over.

    Humorous list for you, @sufferlandrian:
    New Dog Breeds
Of course you already know the Bulldog/Shitzu cross.
Collie/Lhasa Apso = Collapso - a dog that folds up for easy transport
Pointer/Setter = Pointsetter - the traditional Christmas pet
    Terrier/Bulldog = Terribull - don't bother buying this one
    Bloodhound/Labrador = Blabador - they bark incessantly
Malamute/Pointer = MootPoint - owned by... oh well, it doesn't matter anyway
Collie/Malamute = Commute - a dog that travels well to work
    Deerhound/Terrier = Derriere - a dog that's true to the end
Pekingese/Lhasa Apso = PekeAso - only a dog in the abstract sense

Coffee is my friend. It's not that bad if I get a field call around that time, keeps me awake. The worst is if I get a call to Blythe that is 1.5 hours away. Driving by rumble strip all the way.

Yes that is when praying for a call just to stay awake. Don’t drink coffee soda or energy drinks so I was on my own for staying awake or make the guys come in and hang.

Driving to Blythe so late then by time call is over and driving back you will have wished you never got call in first place lol
