    As a Canadian who is far more accustomed to cold weather, I am fairly nervous about summer around Dallas. My girlfriend is a lifelong Texan and she's equally nervous about Canadian winter.

    Having experienced New England winters for 10 years, I can honestly say that I prefer the heat. :D Either climate takes some getting used to though. Safe travels!

    @UncleMac Well as a Northern Canadian - Oilberta we are at 27C ( ~86F ) so she make sure she gets a good taste of Canadian summers before you hit her with the slightly colder winters.

    You can always put more cloths on, you can only take so many off before you get arrested o:)

    I'm baaaack!! Texas was hot & humid for the most part. Both of the flights back were delayed (ugh!) so it was a long day of airport food and waiting.

    I'm not going to say I was full-on Calvin when I was younger but here's a true story...

    As an angsty teen, I went to get a haircut at the mall. Since there was a significant number of people ahead of me, I grabbed a Slushy shaved ice thang to drink while I waited. After a few minutes, I was making the awful slurping.

    The guy seated across from me got annoyed and commented "Didn't your mother teach you any manners?"

    I replied "My mother died when I was two." which is complete *kitten*... my mother is still alive, even now.

    The guy got ashen-faced, muttered an "I'm so sorry" then got up and left...

    Another day, another personal story... When I was a wee one, my sister remembers me carrying a live bee around in my bare hands without getting stung. I don't recall doing so but she's adamant I did...
